The Investigation

20.00
The tour begins – much laughing and joking and general merriment at the amazing likeness of the waxworks, Johnny depp, Brad Pitt, Tom cruise, Posh, J-Lo…. Many an obscene photo taken (all of which available to view on Facebook). Tarnia is particularly drawn to Princess Diana and attempts Psychommetry on her dress ( Transcript available. We are waiting for confirmation from Ian whether or not this is Diana’s dress but the general feeling is that it isn’t), whilst we continue to have our photos taken with the Queen, Beckham, Christina, Robbie, Justin Timberlake, Kylie and Britney. Never seen the Pope with a fag in his hand before either!!!
Anyway it feels like this goes on forever but in actual fact we were soon in the Chamber of Horrors

20.25 Tarnia feels like someone has followed us in as we entered.

20.40 Tarnia still feels uneasy and has a feeling like her head is going to explode and then the feeling goes as quickly as it came.

20.50 Liz can see movement on the other side of the room, where Tarnia was with Diana, and says there is another woman that walks the room.

21.55 Tarnia senses a man with straggly shoulder length hair that walks through Chamber Live and comes out by where the 2 bodies are hanging from the ceiling in plastic (yes it really is that awful down there!!!)
She believes before the underground was built there was a cobbled street here. (The Chamber of Horrors runs exactly parallel with the Underground and you can clearly hear the trains as they move in and out of the station when you are down there) She believes him to be from the 1700’s and wears rough itchy hessian clothes with thick straggly thread. He is in his early 30’s and has no job.

22.00 Liz can sense a little boy 10 years old, she is getting a feeling of dread He is wandering around feeling dread about the war.

22.10 Tarnia can sense a highwayman and a girl in a white cap being chased through here and murdered.

22.25 Many, many orbs in the Planetarium although a lot are seen to be dust there are some very solid balls of light once the dust has settled.

22.54 Place a trigger object by Johnny Wilkinson and set up a locked off camera.

22.55 Lizzie and Tarnia are in the Planetarium, Tarnia can pick up on several different people – details available.
They also get very large bright orbs especially near the doorway.

23.01 Trigger object No2 set up in the room with the 2 bodies hanging also with a locked off camera.

23.07 Trigger object No3 set up in Planetarium – no lock off.

23.10 VIGILS

23.17 Liz and Tarnia hear a noise on the stage in the planetarium.
Tarnia believes here to have been a meeting place a happy place, 1900-1930’s. Tarnia makes contact with a man in 1930’s clothing and tells him to prove he is there and Emma gets a pinky-Red orb on her camera.
23.30 As Bex left Annie to join the group in the Chambers she saw the lift door closing and then it was open again but everyone was in their vigil locations, everyone’s whereabouts were accounted for
23.42 Definate fluctuation on EMF meter whilst I stood in front of Jack Sparrow. The light went off near the floor and ceiling but came on in mid air just for a minute but then went and I never got it back again. Temp still the same…took more photos of me and Jack just to be sure!
Apparently Tarnia had sensed a presence here earlier in the evening.

23.50 As the group in the Chambers walked past the cells, Chris heard a sigh.

23.52 In the pop/sports stars room I swear I saw Charles Darwin move. Took photo but nothing except that it scared the bejeezes out of me.

00.00 Met up to compare results.

00.30 EMF Fluctuation in Planetarium Tunnel

00.40 Whilst in the depths of the Chamber of Horrors before the entrance to ChamberLive! There appears to be a circle of energy. Temp 22.8c Again it is not near the floor or walls, which are some distance away and if I stand on tiptoes to go higher the light goes out. Tarnia is unable to pick up on anything. We take photos and realise we are stood near the REAL Newgate Prison Door and the Original Bell from Newgate Prison.
There is a horrible mouldy water smell, Liz gets a large orb on her camera and Emma’s batteries go completely flat but then after a few minutes work fine. Then there are no other EMF readings, whatever was there has gone. Temp is a constant 24c

00.56 Check trigger object No2 – no movement.

01.03 Sit in the room with The Penny Press room as Tarnia thought it quite active earlier but nothing.

01.13 Tarnia makes contact with Marilyn Monroe – transcript available.

01.30 Collect in Trigger objects and pack up, not forgetting to thank Ian for a wonderful night that none of us will ever forget. We are very privileged

CONCLUSION
A fantastic night investigation.
We hope we will be allowed to return again someday soon. We hear that because of our visit Most Haunted are now enquiring about a night here in November.
We got some excellent results and it was much more active than we had ever hoped. We have a little research to do and a few things to check out.
At least on our next visit we won’t be so excitable!

The raffle for the investigation here was for 2 places, Ben was the raffle winner (as you probably already know) and he gave his second place to Kyle. Unfortunately on the day of the investigation, Ben was sick and it only seemed fair to allow Kyle to choose who came with him as his partner for the night. He chose Kim. Kim is our longest and most devoted member of the SGWA and has actually been coming on Investigations with us longer than Chris and Emma (who are now core team members) and so it seemed quite fitting that she was able to go.
