20.00 Arrive at the caves for tea and coffee. Have a tour round the caves and have some dinner before the night begins.

The teams go off for an hour to explore on their own before we begin the vigils.

 

22.00 Inscription Cave. Team trouble got good orbs on their cameras. Angela and Emma got orange orbs.

 

22.30 Rocky Chamber. Tarnia picked up on an energy. A man. I got an orb and when I was showing Tarnia, Liz saw him stood right in front of us but could only make out the top of his head.

 

22.45 Exhibition Area. Ang and Emma can both taste vomit (nice!)

 

VIGIL 1

23.10 Bear Cave. Angela and Emma can smell burning wood, like a camp fire and then it goes.

Then they smell soil.

 

23.25 Rocky Chamber – Scoobies all stand in a circle and we see spirit lights 3 times.

Liz got an orb but she couldn’t pick up on anyone but she was drawn to the far end of the cave.

Becky felt someone touch her arm.

Slope – Annie gets a good orb.

Stone Chair Cave – Tarnia saw pin pricks of light. I get really good orbs. Ian hears shuffling of feet. Tarnia gets the feeling of dogs lying on the rocks. Tarnia's dictaphone makes a strange noise – to check later.

 

23.45 Listen back to dictaphone but nothing.

VIGIL 2

00.36 – Bears Den - Miss T’s group. Tarnia senses an iron age man about 6ft 3” , brown straggly hair, aggressive, always on his guard, stood a few feet from Shane. There are others around him speaking a primitive language. Liz sees 2 red flashing lights near the entrance to the tunnel. Tarnia gets the name Ffeolyn (hard to pronounce)

Light seen down the tunnel about the size of a 2p piece. Strong smell of candle although none have been lit.

Looks like there is a man sat on a ledge above Ian (who is st by the electrical box) The group form a circle and Tarnia gets the name Kendrick but that is not the mans name. Liz becomes emotional at the end of the circle. Ian gets the impression of a small group of naval personnel.

Shane becomes dizzy. Tarnia takes Liz to one side and has to get rid of someone.

Guide confirms naval sailors got stuck in the tunnel.

 

00.43 Bears Den – Scream Team stand in a circle and all hold hands. Shane's hat is knocked off and falls to the ground. Twinkling lights are seen behind him.

 

00.52 Rocky Chamber– Temp 14ºc Team Trouble sat in a circle and they heard a noise. They separated ad the Temp went up to 18.2ºc.

they got some orbs and mist on camera.

David’s back gets very hot.

EMF meter fluctuates to 1.

Exhibition Area – Lots of activity. Mist on camera. Kyle twice, me once. Definately not breath. Fantastic orbs.

Emma, looking through the night vision camera, saw a mist appear and come towards her in res'ponse to Beckys questions.

Inscriptions- Scream Team again holding hands in a circle. They heard a scratch, felt a tug and saw lights.

VIGIL 3

02.00 Inscriptions Ang feels a temperature change beside her.

EMF meter went up to 3 and flickered.

 

Slope – Scream Team – Report nothing.

Bears Den – Scoobies – Report Nothing

Shane got a mist on his camera.

 

Conclusion.

Fantastic location. Thoroughly enjoyed the invo, definately worth coming all this way for.

We have a lot of dictaphone recordings to go back through and video camera footage too. We didn’t use the CCTV on this occasion. There is so much history in the cave and there was lots of activity to begin with which seemed to quieten down in the early hours.

Definately will be back for more investigations as w have book the cave again for April next year.
